Day Trip Salza+Enns
The two most beautiful rafting rivers in Styria combined in one great trip!
We are rafting on two different rivers that are very different in their river character. In the morning we head on the pushy waters of the Enns river in the Nationalpark Gesäuse, in the afternoon we enjoy the technical and naturally beautiful whitewater of the Salza.
Schedule for the day trip Salza + Enns in Styria:
Meeting point for the trip is our Basecamp Gesäuse. The Enns trip in the morning offers pushy whitewater with some sporty rapids like the "Schlusskatarakt" and the famous "Gesäuse Eingang", but also more calm parts where you can take a jump in the river or enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Gesäuse mountain range.
After the trip on the Enns you have some time to grab lunch at one of the local restaurants nearby, or also directly in the Basecamp Salza (drive from the Basecamp Gesäuse around 20 minutes). Meeting point for the afternoon trip is at 02:00 pm at the Basecamp Salza.
The Salza river in the afternoon is characteristically very different from the Enns. The river is smaller, but also more technical and diversified and offers swift easy to medium hard whitewater in a beautiful scenery. Another highlights are the two jumping spots in the river (optional) but also paddling through the amazing Palfauer Gorge towards the end of the trip
At the end of the day we return back to the Basecamp Salza. There you can enjoy a hot shower and also a cool drink if you want.
A great trip for all rafting lovers with everything you need for a great adventure on the water.
