Salzach "Sportiv"

Dynamic whitewater and great rafting action! The most exciting rafting section of the Salzach river in Salzburg!

This section is the most sportive of the Salzach river and brings us from Eschenau near Zell am See all the way down to Schwarzach. The river is fed by the glaciers of the Großglockner and offers adventurous whitewater.

After meeting with the crew at our basecamp in Golling we will provide you the right equipment for the trip. After you change into the neoprene, we will shuttle you up to the river, where you will get to hear the safety talk from our guides.

With the raft through the "Labyrinth" – technical whitewater on the Salzach

Right after the start we will find ourself in technical and fast whitewater. We only have a short time before we enter the so called "Labyrinth" – a rapid section that requires fast moves and caution from the crew. We continue the tour and also pass by the impressive waterfall of the "Gasteiner Ache". In the second half of the trip the whitewater eases up a little bit, before we find ourself in some lively rapids shortly before the take-out.
