Day Trip Rafting & Canyoning

Nice day trip in Styria! In the morning Canyoning Funtastic, in the afternoon rafting on the Salza river.

Abseiling through waterfalls, great whitewater and a ton of fun. This day trip brings us a nice canyoning tour in the morning with countless slides and abseiling spots. After the lunch (included) we will go rafting on the beautiful Salza river also with jumps into the crystal clear water.

Schedule of the day trip Rafting & Canyoning in Styria:

Meeting point is at our basecamp Salza in Großreifling, where you will meet your guide and get equipped with all the necessary gear. From there on we will drive about 5-10 minutes until we reach our parking spot. After an easy, 15 minute long hike we will are at the entrance of the canyon.

Natural slides and cool abseiling spots up to 18 meters

The trip starts very easy with funny small slides and short abseiling spots. After the middle the steepness of the canyon increases, and we will find ourself on higher abseiling spots up to 15 meters.  We reach our highlight towards the end of the trip: an 18 meter high waterfall. A thrilling and wet experience!

After the canyoning trip we will take a lunch break in our Basecamp Salza or in a nearly located restaurant. At 2.00 p.m. we continue with our rafting trip on the Salza.

Beautiful whitewater and nice jump spots into the river

The Salza is one of the most beautiful rivers of the Alps and offers swift and technical whitewater in easy to medium difficulty level. Another highlight are the two jump spots (optional) into the crystal clear and cold water of the Salza, as well as the stunning way through the "Palfauer" gorge towards the end of the trip.

After the rafting trip we return to our Basecamp Salza. Here awaits a hot shower and well deserved cold drinks if you want.
