Sport Module Rafting Salza Day Trip
Rafting on the most beautiful river in Austria. The ideal tour for school groups of all ages
The Styrian Salza is one of the most charming and beautiful rafting rivers in Europe. Crystal-clear, turquoise-green water, gorgeous vegetation, great jumping spots and wonderful white water of medium difficulty are trademarks of this fascinating river. Pure nature with a sporty touch!
Schedule of the rafting tour Salza in Styria:
Meeting point is our Basecamp Salza & Adventure Hostel in Großreifling. After the welcome, each of you receive the appropriate safety equipment (neoprene suit and jacket, neoprene shoes, life jacket, helmet, paddle). Heated changing rooms, showers and sanitary facilities are available.
Afterwards you will be transferred to the boarding point, where you will receive a safety briefing from the guide. Only then do we start our tour together on the Salza. After about 15 minutes of paddling, we stop at the bridge of the Wasserlochklamm, where brave guests can dare a 5-meter jump into the ice-cold Salza.
In a rafting boat through the "Palfauer" Gorge - a unique natural experience
We continue our trip through beautiful passages such as the "Lange Gasse" to the imposing "Palfauer" gorge, where another jump awaits. The duration of the tour may vary slightly depending on the water level, breaks taken etc.
After the tour, we return from the Saggraben exit to the camp (5 min), where you can comfortably change and take a shower.
