Enns "Special"
Rafting through the Gesäuse National Park in Styria + hike into the spectacular Bruckgraben + Gesäuse Genuss Lunch (optional)
This trip is one of our most popular tours that leads us directly through the Nationalpark Gesäuse. The rafting section is identical to the half-day-trip, but additionally we also go for a beautiful hike in the impressive Bruckgraben canyon - a one of kind natural experience. After the trip there is an option to enjoy our Gesäuse-picnic, a cold lunch with regional products and drinks.
Schedule for the rafting trip Enns "Special" in the Nationalpark Gesäuse in Styria:
After meeting at our Basecamp Gesäuse you will get all the necessary equipment from us. Afterwards we will shuttle you up to the first entry into the river. After the safety talk we will have a 4-5 kilometer long „warm-up“ with moderate whitewater in the middle part of the Enns. After this section we will take the bus once more to go all the way up to the famous „Gesäuse Eingang“, where a thrilling whitewater rapid awaits us.
Hike into the impressive „Bruckgraben“ – one of the deepest and most impressive canyons of Austria
After the wild „Gesäuse Eingang“ the Enns becomes a little more calm. We can relax, take a swim or just enjoy the scenery. After a while we will stop and go for an approximately 45 minute long hike to the impressive „Bruckgraben“ canyon. A one of a kind experience with a 12-meter-waterfall at the end – a refreshing shower for those who are keen to it. After the Bruckgraben we will raft all the way down to the end again, finishing with the sporty last rapid called „Schlusskatarakt“. Finally after a warm shower back in the base there is the option to enjoy our delicious Gesäuse-picnic at the Basecamp (Vegetarian option possible)
