Our rafting day tour "Expedition" is an absolute highlight for sporty, ambitious guests and offers fantastic rafting action on two rivers in the Gesäuse with completely different river character - a unique tour in Austria.
In the morning we raft on the Salza in canoes (2-seater) or fun rafts (3-4 seater). Here we steer the boat ourselves, of course under the supervision of a guide in the accompanying boat or kayak. In the afternoon we switch to the Enns and a larger raft. We start directly at the imposing "Gesäuse Eingang" and also go down the spectacular Bruckgraben canyon.

After arriving at our Camp Salza and giving you the right equipment, we will take you with our buses to the entry point of the Salza. There you will receive a comprehensive safety briefing from the guide so that you are prepared for the coming hours.
Rafting the Salza with fun rafts or canoes
In the morning, the most scenic white-water stretch in Austria awaits us. The Salza in Styria offers great white water, beautiful jumps into the river (optional) and breathtaking nature. However, in order to offer you the necessary challenge and action in addition to these highlights, we will venture down the river in smaller fun rafts (3-4 seaters) or canoes (2-seaters). Of course, under the supervision of a guide in an escort boat or kayak. In case of extremely high water levels, we have to switch to 6-seater rafts steered by the guide for safety reasons. In this case there is action enough in these boats too!
After the Salza, we will have a "Gesäuse -picnic" as refreshment at Basecamp.
Massive white water and the spectacular Bruckgraben on the Enns
After arriving to our other meeting point (Camp Gesäuse), we get right back into the action at the "Gesäuse Entrance". Great and powerful white water awaits us in the middle section and the "Schlusskatarakt". In between there are also some quiet sections to enjoy the great mountain panorama of the national park. As a special highlight, we also hike into the beautiful Bruckgraben gorge. On this excursion, we climb from below into the deeply cut gorge until we reach a 15-meter-high waterfall. After the obligatory "Xeis shower" in the waterfall, we continue our rafting tour, from where the buses take us back to the camp.
A great tour that not only combines the best of all rafting routes in the Gesäuse, but also offers great variety with the different types of boats and the beautiful Bruckgraben gorge!
