Rafting Styria
Rafting tours in Austria
Styria is said to be the green heart of Austria. In the middle of it are the Enns in the Nationalpark Gesäuse and the Salza in the nature park Eisenwurzen, two of the most beautiful and impressvie whitewater rivers in Austria.
The enns is a powerful mountain river. Sadly, this river remains untouched from dams only in the Nationalpark Gesäuse area. In this section, the river offers splashy and swift whitewater rapids like the "Gesäuse Eingang" or the "Schlusskatarakt", surrounded by a impressive mountain scenery. Whitewater rafting right through a Nationalpark is only possible at the Enns river in Austira. Our Basecamp is located right next to the river.
The Salza offers a completely different river character. Because of its beautifl nature it is probably the most scenic river in Austria. The whitewater difficulty is rated as easy to medium hard, and that is why this river is also perfect for families our groups. Crystal clear water in drinking quality on the longest untouched whitewater section of Austria are also trademarks of this river beauty. Our Basecamp Salza is located directly under the confluence of the Salza and Enns river.
